Why our numbers hold up

The debris comes back to our own yard

We run our own C&D transfer station at the Keene Rd yard, so demolition debris does not become a markup on someone else’s disposal invoice. Concrete, block and rock come back to us and get crushed into base material.

Most demolition contractors pay a gate rate by the ton at someone else’s facility, add a margin, and pass it to you. Disposal is usually the biggest single line on a demolition bill, so that markup is the biggest single padding on it. Our trucks dump at our own gate — the disposal line on our quote is a cost, not a profit center.

How it works

Four steps from call to clean lot

  1. Call or send the address

Tell us what is coming down and where. (727) 446-4909, Mon–Fri 7–5, or the quote form. A photo helps but is not required.

  2. Free on-site estimate

We walk the property, check access, look at the structure and what is under it, and give you a firm written number — not a per-square-foot guess that changes later.

  3. Permits and disconnects

We pull the demolition permit, arrange the asbestos survey where the structure predates 1981, and confirm the utility disconnects. This paperwork is most of the calendar time on a demolition job.

  4. Demolition and haul-off

Machine work is usually a day or two. Debris goes back to our own transfer station on Keene Rd, the site gets graded, and you get a lot you can build on.

One company, whole job

The machines, the trucks and the yard are ours

Excavators, roll-off trucks and the transfer station all work out of 1741 N Keene Rd. Nothing on the job is rented or subcontracted, which is why the number on the quote is the number on the invoice.

What it costs

What actually drives a demolition quote

Two houses the same size can quote far apart. It is rarely the square footage — it is what is around the building and what is inside it.

Scope of jobWhat drives the number
Small house, under 1,200 sq ftAccess, foundation type, and how close neighboring structures sit
Partial removal, good accessPool size and how much deck comes with it
Small commercial building, under 5,000 sq ftConstruction type, asbestos findings, and site constraints
Patio or walkway, unreinforcedArea, thickness, and how far the machine has to travel
Single-wide, open accessLength, additions, and how the utilities were run
Light clearance — outbuildings and brushStructure count, vegetation density, and haul volume

Every demolition is quoted on site, free. Access, structure and what has to be protected move the number more than square footage does, which is why we walk it rather than price it down the phone.

Questions

Demolition FAQs

Are you a licensed demolition contractor?

Yes — C-11855 Specialty Demolition Contractor and CUC041521 Underground Utility. Florida requires the specialty demolition license for structural demolition; the underground utility license covers the disconnects, cap-offs and septic work that come with it.

How much does demolition cost?

It depends on the structure, the access and the disposal weight — and those vary enough between two houses of the same size that a published range would mislead more often than it helped. The table above shows what actually moves the number. Every quote is a firm written figure after we walk the site, and the visit is free.

What happens to the debris?

It comes back to our own C&D transfer station at the Keene Rd yard. Concrete, block and rock get crushed into road base, paver base and #57 rock instead of going to a landfill at someone else’s rate. That is the main reason our bids hold up.

Do you handle the permit?

Yes. Pulling the demolition permit, filing the asbestos survey where one is required, and confirming utility disconnects are part of the contract, not your problem.

How soon can you start?

The machine work is fast; the permit is the schedule. Once the permit is in hand most residential jobs are done within days. Call and we will give you an honest timeline for your municipality.

What size job do you take?

Whole structures. Houses, commercial buildings, mobile homes and pools, plus the slabs, driveways and pool decks that come off the same lot. We are not set up for remodel-scale work — an interior strip-out, a kitchen or bath gut, a deck on its own — and a contractor who specializes in that will serve you better.
