The beach runs on teardown-and-rebuild: storm-damaged cottages and obsolete small motels coming down for elevated new construction. Work sites are tight, tourist traffic is constant, and staging is scarce — we sequence deliveries and hauls to the hour rather than parking equipment where it blocks the island.

1950s–70s beach cottages and small motels on North Beach and Mandalay, waterfront homes on Island Estates, and older low-rise condos — a stock that took real water in the 2024 hurricanes.

We work across Clearwater Beach and the surrounding Pinellas County area, including Island Estates, Sand Key, Mandalay and North Beach.

Fifteen minutes from the yard over the Clearwater Memorial Causeway — our own bridge, effectively. No toll, and being the closest demolition contractor with its own disposal to the entire beach is a structural advantage a bidder hauling from across the bay is working against.

We run our own C&D transfer station at the Keene Rd yard, so demolition debris does not become a markup on someone else’s disposal invoice. Concrete, block and rock come back to us and get crushed into base material.

Permits

Demolition permitting in Clearwater Beach

Clearwater Beach permits through the City of Clearwater building department like the mainland, but barrier-island work adds layers: coastal construction-line considerations, flood-zone substantial-damage determinations under the FEMA 50% rule, and seasonal constraints on staging and lane closures. Pre-1981 asbestos surveys and the NESHAP notice apply to most of the stock worth removing.

Pool removals are the most common residential job we quote, and the partial-versus-full decision plays out the same way street by street.

What drives the quote

Commercial in Clearwater Beach

Commercial teardowns run through the same survey, notification and permitting gates, and owning our own transfer station keeps the disposal line honest on every one.

What drives the quote

Concrete Removal in Clearwater Beach

Driveway and slab removals here feed straight into the crushing operation at our yard, which is why the removal quote and the new base quote can come from the same company.

What drives the quote

Mobile Home in Clearwater Beach

Mobile home removals are steady work here, and the title retirement and disconnect steps trip up more owners than the demolition itself.

What drives the quote

Lot Clearing in Clearwater Beach

Clearance work here runs parcel by parcel through the same gates — tree ordinance, surveys, disconnects — and ends at a pad built on base crushed from the site’s own concrete.

Questions

Clearwater Beach demolition FAQs

Are you licensed to do demolition in Clearwater Beach?

Yes. We hold C-11855 as a Florida specialty demolition contractor and CUC041521 for underground utility work, and we pull the demolition permit for your Clearwater Beach job as part of the contract.

How much does demolition cost in Clearwater Beach?

It depends on the structure and the access, not the ZIP code — a detached garage and a two-story house are different jobs before anything local is considered. What moves the number in Clearwater Beach specifically is staging, since there is nowhere to put a machine or a container and every delivery has to be timed. We walk the site and give you a firm written figure, free.

Do I need a permit to demolish a structure in Clearwater Beach?

Clearwater Beach permits through the City of Clearwater building department like the mainland, but barrier-island work adds layers: coastal construction-line considerations, flood-zone substantial-damage determinations under the FEMA 50% rule, and seasonal constraints on staging and lane closures. Pre-1981 asbestos surveys and the NESHAP notice apply to most of the stock worth removing.

How quickly can you get to Clearwater Beach?

Our yard is at 1741 N Keene Rd in Clearwater, about 15 minutes from Clearwater Beach. Fifteen minutes from the yard over the Clearwater Memorial Causeway — our own bridge, effectively. No toll, and being the closest demolition contractor with its own disposal to the entire beach is a structural advantage a bidder hauling from across the bay is working against.

What happens to the debris?

It comes back to our own C&D transfer station on Keene Rd. Concrete, block and rock get crushed into road base and paver base rather than going to landfill at someone else’s rate.
